Inventory ControlAddVantage Inventory Control helps you manage your inventory with reports and tracking information that you can't get using a manual system. With this program, you have the ability to print price labels, price lists, sales analysis, and many other reports to help you manage your inventory properly. When used with the AddVantage Billing and Purchase Order programs, you can track both sales and purchasing history for any item.
Inventory item numbers can be as long as 25 characters in length. Item numbers can be alpha-numeric.
Standard description can be 32 characters in length, but you can also add additional description up-to 182 characters long. These extended descriptions can be printed on picking tickets and invoices.
Each item's sales information is automatically updated with each sale. You can view total units sold, dollars sold, and profit earned on each item by month, quarter, prior quarter, current year and previous year.
Each item's cost is stored for quick reference. You can quickly view the average cost, current cost, and weighted cost. Weighted cost is calculated by entering your freight costs and other overhead costs that you enter into the system.
If you need to cross reference your customer or vendor's part number over to your number, or vice versa, this option will save you lots of time.
AddVantage allows you to quickly print a suggested order based on minimum and maximum stock levels that you assign. Orders can be limited to a particular vendor, group, or department. Saves valuable time in maintaining your stock levels.
Selling prices can be calculated based on a percentage of cost. You can select new prices based on gross profit, percentage mark-up, or discounted from retail price. You can preview price changes before making them final. Helps you maintain your profit margins.
Create completed kits from individual inventory items. Key in the item number and quantity for up-to 99 items. Computer will print out a picking ticket, adjust component quantities and calculate kit cost based on current component prices.
Serial number tracking allows you to quickly view the customer's name, date of sale, and vendor where you purchased the item. A great tool for identifying items under warranty.
If your company has inventory stocked in more than one location, you can use the warehouse feature to sell and receive items to and from those areas.
Create your own reports using this feature. You can select which information you would like to include on your printout.
