OUR HISTORY

We are a family-owned small business that began in 1985.  The owner and software developer, Don Maddox, became familiar with business computer software back in 1978 when he did accounting for his father in the auto parts business.  He later became part owner and learned every aspect of running a business.

Excited with the possibilities of using computers in a small business environment, he began developing software for the emerging PC market. 

His early hands-on experience in accounting and business, plus his ability to customize the software were all invaluable in developing a simple, business-friendly software package, and Addvantage Business Software was born.

We have many satisfied customers, and are still growing strong.  Some of the types of businesses who are using our software include:
