Sometimes you may want to limit a report to customers that you pick on a one-by-one basis. An example might be to print Mailing labels. With this program you can pick individual customers, then go to certain reports and limit the report to only customers that you have selected.
This box shows up as an option on selected reports.
To use this option, go to your Reports Menu. In the upper menu bar, click on "Select Customers". The screen will display showing any customers who are already selected. If none have been selected, this screen will be blank.

How to Select Customers Individually - To individually select, click on the Display All Customers button. Once your grid is populated with customers, position your mouse pointer into the Select column and double-click you mouse left button until the letter changes to Y = Customer Selected. To unselect a customer, double-click until the letter changes back to N
You can also change by positioning your cursor inside the Select box and typing the letter, then pressing your Enter key.
COMMAND BUTTONS DESCRIPTION
| Select All | Selects ALL customers in your customer database. |
| De-Select All | Click this button to unselect all customers. If you have already selected some customers, clicking this will undo all of your work. |
| Display All Customers | Displays every customer in your company database. |
| Display Only Selected | Displays only customers who have been selected. Click to verify before printing your report. |
| Apply Filter | Selects customers in your database that meet the requirements you specify. |
How to Select Customers Automatically That Meet Your Requirements
By using the Filter option, you can specify that all customers for a particular salesman or zip code be selected. You can also specify that the customer meet certain purchase requirements.

To Limit by Salesman - Select the salesman from the drop-down list.
To Limit by Zip Code - Check the box, then click on the arrow for a list of the zip codes in your customer database, or type in the zip code.
Limit by Purchases - Select either Greater than or Less than and enter the dollar amount to use.
You can create a filter and apply it, then create another filter to add to the previous selections or you can elect to remove all other filters and use only the new filter.
To retain previous selections, choose "Add to Previous Selected Customers"
To remove previous selected accounts, choose "Remove Previous Selections"
Once you have made your choices, click on Apply Filter to do your search. The customers that match your search will display in the grid. When finished, click on Quit in upper left menu. You can now use these selections on any report that gives you the option for Selected Customers.
